All the Stihls I have or had run great. I just dont have all day to fug around waiting on them.

@RI Chevy 261c was boiling the gas in the tank. Not sure if it was because it was hot or the tank vent was restricted? Also, that aluminum skid plate could be holding in heat almost like aluminum foil wrapped food?

It started and ran though, as did ALL my Stihls.
They all ran well too

Doc can make those 036’s run, I did feel the 562 had a “little more” in it... but it should.

But due to the heat, I didn't want to push the limit.
You can't claim any victory until we run same bar and chain.

I have to admit that thing was darn right strong. Nice saw Jeff!

The 262 didn’t get a fair chance either in the shootout because of its chain. It was strong as well. I wouldn’t be embarrassed to own any of them.

That would be incorrect
It may look like a quad port, but the other 2 ports are stratos and lower than the transfers.

Not quad, what dan said is right. It does have autotune, crank stuffers and a long stroke (36mm stroke). A 046 is 36mm stroke for reference.
