Thanks but that's a moobsy saw I added something to it. Still not a wow saw like some. Good solid work saw. Not sure with mtronic it will ever have a real wow.I like that one mikey.

Will it matter what bar and chain and sprocket that's on it?
I post everything I can to help and to figure stuff out,why do you post every once in a while to tell people there wrong with no explanation.

What plate? Plates belong on the dinner table not in saws!!It's popping because of the dead space above the base gasket. The space between the plate you installed, and the holes in the sides of the bore. Fill that space and it will stop.
