Your awful smart guy Scott and you know the John deere popping 661's are strong.
Will it matter what bar and chain and sprocket that's on it?
I post everything I can to help and to figure stuff out,why do you post every once in a while to tell people there wrong with no explanation.
I know what it is but I'm trying to figure out why it is.
This is a saw forum right?
Proofs in the puddin. But he ain't got no puddin.I flat out told you what was wrong with your saw.
and your trying to blow smoke up our asses saying your saw runs 13.100 in the cut, stock carb, no pipe, pump gas, and you don't own a tach to show it.
NASCAR-2 Cycle Seriesit's like a restrictor plate. lol
Sir...please leave my goats out of this. I have them broke in the way I like em. Scott...could you please install a pop in my 066. I like dr. pepper. K thanks bye.
no I can't, but I can send it to jms saws for the installation
I have a cylinder that it's filled on,I had to dig it all out because it run poor. It's popping because of the dead space above the base gasket. The space between the plate you installed, and the holes in the sides of the bore. Fill that space and it will stop.
I'll rent you a pig now.
And I told you your wrong and you are.I flat out told you what was wrong with your saw.

Than who's?Do you think your saw is stronger than his?

It needs the extra volume
It still popped.
The only thing it can be is the mtronic because it stops after 30 seconds.
It's very easy to make never do it,all I have to do is take a little power away.
Screens in the muffler or less advance it stops. Again this is the 6th one and they all do it cold and when there right but as I've said and @Redfin and @trooney will say they learn and stop doing it but there not quite as strong.
It's not really a problem just annoys me.
Send me a saw.I flat out told you what was wrong with your saw.

Why don't a 395 pop?
When I put a regular carb on it does that somehow fill the void and make it stop?
When I take power away does that change the porting?
I'm not arguing,I'm trying to learn.
It doesn't it with a carb
You just said what I was thinking. Personally I could care less if someone on here has a ported 661 that would cut circles around mine and make it look like a hack saw. Mine runs great starts easy and is reliable. That should mean more than anything. I'd rather have bullet proof reliability than the most ultimate powerful cuts so fast it's like it's got a laser for a bar and chain powersaw. You are the only one that really worries about that.
I've been backing away from all I can get on these saws for years.
Building a solid workable saw is far more important that getting all you can. You'll see that one day.
