A few have been good used oem top ends
This last batch has been aftermarket.
Oem is an option but adds 250$+ to the price. Stihl is mighty proud of the p/c kits.
That is all discussed with the customer when they order.
Now truthfully, these am jugs weld 10x better than the used oem. Don't have years of oil baked into them
I figure if the plating will hold up to the welding/porting it should hold up in service. Throw in a meteor piston and caber rings, seems to be a very solid option.
These am castings are thicker. More room to move/shape the ports.
