Old stale fuel varnish

What do you guys use to get it out of a tank? Its a plastic tank, didnt really think they would do it like metal, and it almost looks like rust. Tried acetone, that didnt do it. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Berrymans B12 fuel injector cleaner. Be careful with it because it will remove paint.

Hot soapy water worked for me in the past Tom. Couple flushes, let it soak, couple rinses, then I did a rinse with some fuel mix.

Oh, they do. They do. Differnt than a southern redneck but redneck all the same. (That’s a compliment).

It makes me chuckle that I’m rednecker than my wife’s family and she’s from TX…

Try Pinesol mixed strong with water and let it sit a day or two.

This is how my dad clean plastic water canisters from algae and/or other contaminants.
My dad also uses this method to clean plastic canisters that had cherry liquor in them.
