It was cool today, so I worked on the pile for a few hours. I had hoped to finish it up but it started raining and I'm a sissy. I figured there was enough cut, to keep the guys with splitters busy for awhile. Shouldn't take long to knock out what's left.

You folks have done good Steve...I know everybody’s schedule is different, you can’t knock it all out in two days, kinda thing. It’s a collective effort. I had a chance today to finish cutting the log pile. It was. 90* with 80% humidity.
What should have been a two hour job, took four.
I’m glad it’s done.
Just need to get the splitting crew cranked up.

I'm feeling old many day, and have grown a bit soft.

One of the neighbors and I went over and finished the splitting.
What's left is for the old mans SIL to pick up, for some kind of landscaping project.
He came out while we were taking a break, to let us know that he drank the two cases of beer, but would be getting more.
He was extremely appreciative.

Funny how people are willing to help, until the work starts.
The pile in front of the stacks is what we split this morning.
I'm glad we're done.
