I finished the machining and port work anyway on this jug. Just left the top ring out.

But it's only 150 psi with .050 off the base

42mm piston? Meteor only lists 024, not 024s. If they're both the same, could put your piston in my saw if you wanted. Idk. Maybe I can save the piston and port and run it. I'll give it a go tomorrow night.

039 boot

Could be carb issues yet too, I cut the snorkel off the top of the carb. Which obviously leaves a big assed hole. How does this affect the carb

It let's sawdust into the diaphragm. There's already a small hole to allow it to vent. You made it bigger is all.

Mine has an HD16 I think on it from an 044. Wide open it tuned fine, but mixture is touchy at idle. Had to solder off half the hole in the butterfly to close off some air to get it to idle down
