Basically a over grown 2 bay garage, a lift in 1 bay that would be only thing to do in that bay but thats why its 12 high just in case.

Were building a barn style 28x32 for my niece
Her lazyass son will never
Live in the apartment up top she wants.
He'd never climb the stairs or cook or clean or pay any bill's.

But we're running 12 courses of block with stick built second floor.

Basically a over grown 2 bay garage, a lift in 1 bay that would be only thing to do in that bay but thats why its 12 high just in case.

Do it! Or at least spec out some lifts. And pour the floor accordingly. ReRememb ain't none of getting younger and working on the ground sucks

I've had a lift laying at my buddy's house for years. Just not sure I want to loose that bay yet. We will see when the thing is built how i feel about it.

I only can fit a 30w X 32L there. Plans r for a Modine hanging of the ceiling.

No way I can use gas heat. I'd love to, but if any saw leaks fuel the gas stove makes the fumes impossible to tolerate. But....that was with an unventilated lp gas burner.....maybe if it was ventilated.

Lol only have one here. A lift is nice, but they do take up room though.
