My boy got a 16ft v bottom boat given to him
Has a old Montgomery Ward motor on it.
Not locked up but I’m guessing the carb is nasty
Anybody worked on one before?

He can’t afford a different motor right now

If it is an air cooled it is a Clinton, if water cooled it is more than likely a Chrysler. The air cooled motors are sought after by the waterfowl guys as they can be run in the mud and not worry about impellers getting screwed up. Post up a pic.
