Got a few stitches on his head and lots of scratches and bruises but alive to talk about it
No alcohol involved thank god
Then sheriff called at 8 am and been taken care of things the rest of day [emoji3061]

Had to do it. The buttress was unstable as you can see. The climber was leary it would split when I felled it. He put on a figure eight rope wrap. It could have split as you can see little was holding it together. After felling to the right, it was standing up straight and never moved. Sliced free the main Y and slid the section right in the trailer. The third one was the easiest to load. Picking up twenty three feet of this thing with the eleven foot section on the top straight up was not a good feeling with floor jacks. We fully expected it to roll one way or the other. It never moved. I blocked it with my giant wedges.

You must of got some good NFL rejects this year.

Not so much NFL rejects, really more like NFL Never got a shots... The Canadian game is quite different than the NFL game and not all stars / former starts find success. Case in point is Johnny Manziel, bounced from team to team and just wasn't willing to do the work to learn the nuances of the game.

Son Jared gave me something yesterday...

He bought this Zippo four years ago when he got orders to the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier, working F/A-18’s. He doesn’t smoke...he bought it just to tote around in his pocket.

In turn, which was the deal from the get-go, he just didn’t know...gave Jared the new Weatherby 6.5 Creedmoor bolt-action long gun. I’ll deck the Weatherby out with a damn nice scope and rings coming up.

I’ve been blessed with two level-headed kiddos. He don’t keep me on my toes nowhere near what that crazy ass, 21-yr old college daughter Kaitlyn does. She graduates 4-yrs of college/Nursing School this coming May ‘20...an old man can’t be more proud than they’ve made me. They knew growing up, straight Corps hell would come knocking if they *f-wordked up and went down the wrong road. I couldn’t ask for a better deal...ain’t no hand in cards better than this!

The Carl Vinson Zippo lighter means the world to me...I’ll tote it til’ the day my ass blows off this planet!
