Evening fellas. Finished up a couple saws and tore down a 357 project. Should make someone a nice saw when I get her together.
I just got one too DJ. $60.00 shipped. Auto decomp hose rotted, cylinder might clean up. Will also make someone a nice saw when I get it put back together.
You haven't gotten me anything yet for Christmas have you? There you go. Lol
You might be on to something...

You stole that one Dan! Same scenario on the one I have here. Decomp hose was cracked and plastic intake clamp. Pulled that stupid elbow out and tapped for a m5 set screw. Tiny bit of transfer should clean up easy enough.

Get to work milling now slacker lol.
That is the plan.
Metal everywhere. Chain link fence fun. Property line trees. Fun stuff when your dabbing at the buttress to split them. I was hoping it was a single. After veiwing the back cut...I cried to have to chop off the flair another foot and split up the twins. I wanted one 8' 8" base log. Now they are 11' 4" twins. They can be set back together. No rot in these trees but they have what I seek.

The metal really does take the fun right out of it. Looking forward to some pics of the slabs. Have you used your 60 yet?

You sell them as table slabs Ken?
Negative. I have no kiln, yet. Then I might consider retail, maybe. Wholesale to artist/woodworkers/others is the goal after drying. Takes years to offer a top quality product. I may never want to offer finish surfaces. Bigger is better.

*f-word metal in trees.
Not much use yet. Have plenty of ready spalted wood to open when things slow down for deep winter. Test ran it twice in the mill and noodles once. Did a couple of large trees with it over 50". It's the ticket! Did 8" thick slabs with some 42" red oak, green and heavy mfers at 14ft. I need some bigger stuff like this to keep it busy. The 40" is always humming. Two more bars coming and I done collecting them, for now. *s-word....that reminds me to go pay someone.

She'll be pissed if a 72" bar shows up anytime soon. That's driving school loot I'm told.

Boy rolled his truck
Went to look at the scene and figured out that his rear brakes locked up and sent him in a spin
He and his buddy had some Devine intervention for sure [emoji106]
Got a few stitches on his head and lots of scratches and bruises but alive to talk about it
No alcohol involved thank god
Then sheriff called at 8 am and been taken care of things the rest of day [emoji3061]
