And whats really sad is them gut bomb places "Wendy's, BK, and McDs" are higher than hell. I got a few set down places in town that you can call a head first and make it out cheaper and faster and have more food than the fast food joints lol.

Nearest McD's is 40+ miles from here. That's the closest we have to a fast food chain. Gyros are our 'fast food'.

That's the thing about fast food too...I spend like $20 and I'm hungry in an hour and got the heartburn like crazy. Lol.

Alcohol FTW. Everything knocked right off with a soft brush. A word of warning; decals don't like the alcohol. Not beautiful, but fully functional, not busted up at all and the cheapest replacements I saw on ebay were $35.

Do you actually let it soak in the alcohol or spray it on? They look great

Thanks. I should say that this was an experiment. I've never encountered tar crusted gunk before. I worked on a top cover spraying it on and rubbing with a soaked rag. It worked fine but was pretty laborious. You could never get in all the corners of the grid on a starter. I threw them in a tub of de-natured overnight, brushed them over still submerged in the tub, and used compressed air to finish. Usually I would use a parts washer but it wasn't even touching this *s-word.
