Good morning guys, yes it’s Friday again 🥳

Yesterday I found this on a pikey/traverler site that got evicted a few days ago.
I had to cut the brambles away to be able to remove it.
On quick inspection, it needs some tlc 🙄 as it looks like it’s been neglected for a long time🤦‍♂️ but i think it will run 🤞👌

The last pic is actually the colour of the oil 🥱. I will drain it and flush it out with some diesel.

It will.be frozen aboutt 6" thick
That's not frozen...

Frozen water greatly reduces the number of local meth heads.
You would think so but we have a downtown area that would indicate otherwise. We have people living in tents year round right now, really amazing that more of them don't die as a result of CO poisoning based on what they will do to stay warm.

That’s a solid score. They’re nice little generators. How’s the inside of the tank?

The tank is good, it was almost dry to my surprise (no petrol nor rust) I’d say very very good when compared to the state of the carb and the engine oil.

I did get it running yesterday but it was hunting/surging. However with a bit of reading up from the internet about the low running cab jet and all the holes (plastic insert in top of carb below the idle screw ) I pulled it out and cleaned out the gumed up fuel, . When I put it back together.. it purred along as if it was a new carb. 👍
I then tried to boiled a kettle (2kw) again. it did struggle quiet a bit before, but now it just chugged along .

btw that rusty carb bowl got trashed as I just happened to have a old busted Chinese carb with a good bowl on it. So I used that.
