morning comrades. have a friend comin over this morning to gimme a hand replacing a crappy old hydrant in the yard and dig a trench to lay a wire for some power outlets in the yard. feels much less horrible outside than it did yesterday which is a bonus.

Thanks Randy. They were very easy to make and make biscuits and gravy edible on the go. Wife said I can make them again. Good thing a batch of sausage gravy makes enough to use a few cans of biscuits.

Afternoon goons. Briskets are stalled out which is to be expected. Deciding when I will wrap them. Maybe I’ll foil boat them for a new experience. So many choices but it’s going to be a decision I need to make soon. I want them to rest for two hours if possible.

beautiful day here. got hydrant done this morning. found a bonus pressure tank underground abandoned near the well. $100 firm. no trades!!
