Good morning Tor. Your buddy sounds like a Norwegian @SCHallengerGood morning guys
My stupid question - 67 Chevelle didn't have an ecu , so can it be eliminated? Wouldn't want ecm, tcm, catalytic converters, fuel pump in gas tank or egr. Electronic ignition is OK.I've had a number of phone conversations with one of their tech guys, Henry. I do understand people make mistakes, don't know what they are doing, ETC. In conversations about my side of the diagnosis of this we've talked about what I do for a career and how long I've been doing it as well as the certifications I hold.
He agrees with me that after everything I have triple checked it has to be an ecu issue.
The problem is that it passes their bench tests.
So, similar to BS I deal with, he needed to convince the people who will allow the warranty claim to happen that there is something wrong with a module that passes their tests based off some clown in Central Wisconsins testing.
I'm sure they deal with people who know very little about anything automotive right up to guys that are basically professional racers. That in itself has to be difficult for their tech team. It's basically like what I deal with whenever I see Boots walking my way. An extremely stupid question is about to be posed.
Damn, sending some positive healing vibes. We are in Knoxville at UT with my daughter. She has some blood clots. They put her on blood thinners. Today she nearly bled out.

Your welcome Mr. Ed.Thanks Steve!!
Your welcome Mr. Ed.
Least I can do, I can't help you with ECU's and whatnot, if you had a real old school 427, I could help set up the curve and tune a dual point distributor, along with synching and dialing in dual quads. ECU's... forgetaboutit.
Disagree. When you and @Mastermind are in the Home together, you'll have something to talk about when you're waiting for the shuffleboard court to open for the day.I have a brain full of crap that nobody cares about now.
The Wisco Express isn't going to run for a while, I can ship the saw to you no problem though. Thanks Steve!!

Fixed for more "WV-ishly" realism.Just a thought, but this is starting to sound like the plot of a WV porn...dude finds abandoned man holding a Stihl in a dumpster....
