Morning men. Seems the cold moved back in and we are supposed to get a little snow this week if you can believe then. The kids and I are off today for President’s day and the wife has an inservice day. The three of us are off to Knoxville for teeth cleanings and I’m sure lunch. Have a good one fellas.

Beats 90° and humid
I can do that weather easier than I can do cold anymore. That's just around 100° to 110° in the back of a brown truck and I can limit my time inside or open the doors to cool off. When its cold there is no insulation in the cab and since I have to open the doors all the time, no heat retention. I can put a cup of water without a lid in the cab and it will freeze the top of it. Takes about 15 minutes of running down the road on high heat with doors closed to begin to warm them up. You know with your job what its like in the cold as well. Imaging getting cold to the point you are shaking and can't stop but the truck cab is cold as well. We have a no idle policy so we can't just sit with the motor running.

Morning fellers. Wind is howling out there. No work or school for us today either. I guess there’s a box of jeep parts waiting at the end of the driveway. That’ll probably occupy most of our day. Also have some saws I should get started on.
Time to mosey down and take care of my golden hens…..

Morning folks. A bit frozen here at the homestead and for the next couple planet rotations. -13f last I looked with a high of some single digit below zero being claimed.

Had enuf of the cold as it rarely snows when below +10f. And I like some of that 2T smoke from snowmobiles.

Good morning fellas. -8 here this morning. I caught a bug and spent the weekend on the couch between running to the bathroom. Better now though!

Heading to my buddies shop to start working on getting that used snowplow fit to my pickup.

I put a rubber cutting edge on the tractor plow. It works excellent on our gravel driveway. So far it’s wearing better than I had expected.

I took a piece of pipe that I cut and fit over the cutting edge for my skidsteer and Dad's tractor so we can use the loader for snow removal without digging in.

Since I've put one on the old man's tractor he hasn't used his backblade for snow.

Good morning, fairly cold outdoors this morning. Finished up a saw last night and gave it a test run and tune.
Touched up some ports the other day on a couple of freshly bored out snowmobile cylinders, gave the exhaust a good polish as carbon scoring is what killed it initially. Seemed original owner used oil "A" that placed the carbon, then the second owner used oil "B" that loosened same. So, with no other plan of brilliance, it seemed prudent at the time.
We finally got a decent snowfall, which is a good thing seeing as the trails were recently opened, but in poor condition.
Otherwise, not a lot to report, nothing exciting anyways.
