Good morning fellas. -8 here this morning. I caught a bug and spent the weekend on the couch between running to the bathroom. Better now though!

Heading to my buddies shop to start working on getting that used snowplow fit to my pickup.
Dooood! You’re always sick

I made a little red dot installation station
If you do any the fasteners are wildly different from countless manufacturers
The thread pitches have been spot on but
The tolerances for the Allen or torx have been very loose
these Milwaukee bits have fit the loose Allens very tightly so I didn't have to worry about stripping them.
I was able to remove several dots that guy's stripped out with them.
I have a variety of precision driver sets
But these work great.

I am a 550 mk 2 mechanic today, someone who has bought a lot from me in the past delivered a 550mk2 that didn't work, a long time ago, cause unknown, holds pressure and vacuum though.
Today he came with one that a tractor had modified a bit lol. But the carburetor looks intact, so that's the next step in the troubleshooting.
The only thing that can be used from the modified one is the carburetor, piston, generator, clutch and drum, oil pump, maybe crank and flywheel. The rest is.....smashed.
