We've got a 99 magnum 500, it's currently sitting in the back of the barn just about all it wanted to do was break. And the warmth continues in NW NC! Reached 64° yesterday and we saw a lot of melting. Supposed to reach 60° today.
More progress on the ole Sportsman yesterday. CV boots and hub bearings. Will try to button it up today.

Anyone else experiencing low numbers?
Does cold weather push them in and out of your area like it does ducks?I have half, or less, of the tree birds (titmice, cardinals, huthatches, chickadees) this year than I usually do. There seems to be as many as normal, or more, of ground birds (sparrows and juncos). West Nile was determined to have killed a group of buzzards in Franklin County (one county south of me) a couple of months ago, so I don't know if it's that or avaian flu that's hitting the songbirds.
