Tree Stand and sap questions. Mostly a City idiot, at this point in my existence.
I got a feeling the danged rosin will still ooze a bit. Grew up in the edges of where they were pretty opportunistic, 2nd growth plants.
My question is , what about a trash bag wrapped around the tree and covered with a burlap sack? Tie it with bailing twine so that it rots away over time rather than cutting into the tree.
Eventual cleanup of some trash of course as it degrades over time.

That said. Does stuff like this tend screw with animal activities and mess up the hunting spot? If so, for how long would ya expect?
Then is something like this ok with any wildlife/hunting regulations or just simply prevailing norms in the area?

It will fully heal and quit oozing sap eventually. I'm just trying to expedite the process.
Archery season doesn't start until mid/late September here, so the deer won't give a shįť by then, if they even do now.
