My niece is basically being forced to go to college by her parents. She has no clue what she wants to do for a career. Can't say I agree with that.
Neither of my girls have a clue what they want to do either. And really, I don't have much of an opinion as to what they do for a career as long as whatever job they are currently in, they do to the absolute best of their ability. My oldest has straight out told her aunt to GFY when she was harassing her as to not wanting to go to college and not sure what she wanted to do for a career. FFS, she's not even 17, has had a job since 14 and is currently working 2 jobs. Leave the damn kid alone.

The whole idea of “everybody needs to go to college” is ridiculous…and it really only serves the purpose of making universities lots of money. My niece is basically being forced to go to college by her parents. She has no clue what she wants to do for a career. Can't say I agree with that.

College should be a path to something, not "the something". They push this college crap on all kids that could qualify, only for most of them to take on debt, which they will be servicing a long time. I told my kids college is fine as long as you are going for two reasons, one is that it is something you want to do, and two, you can make a good living doing it. Both must be there for it to make any sense. The "college experience" is not one of the criteria. My niece is basically being forced to go to college by her parents. Exactly!Trade school was where it was at for me. Went in to be a plumber and came out a linesman. Now i earn a 3 digit salary without all the debt. I wonder how many college graduates can say that.

Ladies and Dall-mations, this is a pork T bone steak.
I know, its a center cut chop, but dang it looks nice!
Bosslady found 2 of the 2 packs of these at a local grocer in the reduced section. Less than 10 bucks for 4 of these monsters.
Gonna be a fat kid fo sho here shortly.
She also made me some of her pasta salad to go with it before she left.
That stuff is AMAZING.

Grilled a pork steak with box pasta last night. No mushroomsnoveggiesI love pork steaks
I'm not quite willing to go this far. I saw a wagyu ribeye in the grocery cooler tonight that had me drooling. I have a lot of time at the cabin slated for September, so one of those may see the camp grill over hickory once the fall 'shrooms are firing on all cylinders. I'm totally worth it.Me too
Better than beef imo
