Almost less concern than in the city. We don’t have coyotes here to the extent we did in the city, I should get a bear bell to wear when walking as there are some of those around.

Here is that same view from the end of the drive as I was leaving for work. Mostly hay field with one house across from us.

Gotta keep a boomstick nearby now, dang critters n black bears. Not too far away black bear tried tearing a guys door down he shot it through the door and it still kept trying, so 5 more shots and it’s dead. I haven’t had any problems with them, I’ve been successful in scaring them off

Was wondering why there was no windrow. Looks good, my flail mower leaves an even cut like that, so was wondering.

I keep circling back to this. I've typed out several replies, decided against posting them, and moved on. I'm not sure how to say anything in our current environment without it being political or offensive to someone. I'll just say this.

In a few minutes of conversation with literally anyone, I can tell which method of brainwashing they expose themselves to. If they watch left wing propaganda, they think that political party cares about them, and wants to "help" them have a better life. If they watch the right wing propaganda they think the left wants to ruin their lives. Neither is true. The answer to all of our nation's problems is in the middle....and can only be achieved by sitting aside our bias. Compromise is the way we actually get things done. That isn't possible by supporting tribal leaders. I'm tired of seeing my countrymen being pitted against each other....so I pray for unity.

Until Citizens United is over turned we're all screwed. And every last politician should be charged with treason!

For the most part conservatives want to be left alone, liberals are the ones trying to coerce into more taxation and big government control and socialism. I just can’t befriend a socialist, when that person is for big brother control, ie they indirectly want to control me. Sure both sides have scum, democrats socialist are the ones pushing us into a well proved failed and dangerous idealogy. Socialism is force. And that’s what the left brings to the table these days. “Liberal” pfft. Like many words, they have changed what it originally meant.

If we could manage to have a discussion without the insults.....maybe we could wade off into it. But it absolutely ain't possible anymore. Social media has wrecked our ability to treat each other with respect when it comes to politics.

We actually can have discussions, but they must be face to face. People have much bigger , um , nads, when they have distance. I find most people civil in person. I agree social media is a mistake. I have no Twitter or Facebook. This is as close as it gets. But I try to always treat people with respect, and I always assume they are trying to be civil.

Got rid of social media 5 or 6 years ago. Never looked back. Wish I never signed up in the first place.
