My wife bought a cheap roaster which made roasting much easier. I used to pan roast and had a hard time getting an even roast. You lose quite a bit of weight when roasting also, 5# of beans makes 3-4# of coffee. I love coffee, and want to be sure I can always get some. My biggest fear isn't a zombie Apocalypse, it is a zombie Apocalypse with no coffee.

But Hopefully Today I get chance to list all the bodging and crap rushed work that garage did to my car…. I don’t think a job costing £6.5k (appox $7k) warrants slack & rushed workmanship.

in my first cup of coffee of the day, we got a whole 5 cm of snow yesterday, today it's raining so the Christmas feeling is over for this time.

I'm going to order 560 parts during the day, it's been so long since I worked on them that it's an advantage to get the parts quickly so I remember what's what.

Bad weather is forecast for pretty much the whole week, doubtful if there will be much hunting. Most of the weekend (Saturday) I'll be a local man at a hunting test that is being arranged

For us, snow brings mud. The ground becomes rotten after a thaw. If I were to wish for snow, it would be accompanied by a long cold spell that froze the ground.
