Morning/Evening All. Last weekday slack in for a while. Happy FriYAY M’fers!!!
Fog has set in and visibility is about 1/8 mile right now.

Heating up for the weekend, tomorrow should be a great day for a party. Local shop didn’t have any whole shoulders/ butts, ended up with a bunch of 3-4lb roasts. Should all fit on the WSM but will need to use both levels which can be a pain but should cook a little faster so I think I’m okay with it.

I can’t remember: is the tool that installs the captured bar nuts on a Stihl, the same tool that’s used to install the recoil bushing?

I’ve used a lot of different guns to deer hunt but always end up back with the Winchester model 94 30-30.
Have a pre 64 model 94 in 32 Winchester that my grandpa left me. He got it new in 1952 shot 2-3 deer with it and put it in the closet.
Gave me the original box of shells with it I bought a new box and have killed 2 deer with it just because.

good morning folks,

I'm in the tractor wiring system again, what I see I'm going to buy is a good bus bar.
Looks a bit messy at the moment but it will be tidy once I get some shrink tubing on the system.

After seeing the lady doctor today, I'm not going to be getting a scope. She said as long as the Omeprazole was keeping me from having heartburn or acid reflux, just keep talking it. The only reason I went was because my regular doctor was concerned that I'd been taking Omeprazole for 15 years. Stomach doctor said at the dosage I'm taking, it ain't a problem. So.....

Just wasted part of a day for nada.
I was put on Omizodrole after I had a probe that measures acid reflux to the esophagus, 24 hour measurement, donkey years ago.
It is a good medicine, and even though the prediction was surgery, the med made it so that I avoided surgery, almost 30 years ago now.

I had to switch to Somac after the stent operation, they found out while I was there that Omeprazole had zero effect on me now, but they wanted to put me on Somac because of the blood thinners.

It's mostly just a hobby, the older I get the more often I go back to something that was my original education.
My education was in the field of cars, first electricity, then damage repairer where I got my trade certificate, but ended up becoming a painter.

What I'm doing now I can't lose money on, bought the tractor in 2012 for $27,500 and nowadays they sell for close to $40,000. One of the very few things I've bought in my life that has gone the right way.

Several time's in the past different managers said no to price matching TSC stores

I just pulled up the Appleton WI TSC
Sadly, the Hartford, WI store was out of the oil yesterday. I wanted to stock up on it at that price, but it isn't worth the drive to a store further away for me. Supposedly the Watertown, WI store had a full pallet of it as of Wednesday

Paul called wanting to borrow a saw
His ms250 is getting too much to handle at 94 year's old
I offered him one of my 288s or 395s he didn't want any
IMG_20240823_152625.jpg
I'm taking this to him I've loaned it out for a couple of year's it's still running
Him and his daughter can use to clear fence line and deer trails
I looked at these echo 2511 clones on eBay and vmodest messaged me offering it
For 132.00
I might get one and give my old one to paul.

I haven't cut anything all summer but i use a lot of mix and oil working on people's crap
Usually stihls since the dealership here wants 125.00 an hour for service work.
I would have bought a lot more just to have on hand firewood season is coming up
