Given that I had to book this service a month in advance, turning up within 20 miles of the sticker recommendation may be one of my greatest achievements.

That they took 8 hours to service, fit 4 tyres, wash it and still not text me before I turned up to collect it i don't however claim as any sort of accomplishment.

110 actually, with threaded barrel in case he ever wants to put a can on it. Not much difference in ability from 243 to 308 on North american non dangerous game. Shot placement and bullet selection make the most difference.

Yes it does, my buddy used to shoot 100 grain core lock Remingtons and we had terrible luck getting good blood trails even lost couple. The federal fusions did a much better job but I had a hard time talking him out of the rounds he’s used since he started hunting

Funny, I wouldn't trade you a bucket of feral cat piss for the fusions.
Had zero issues with a regular old cup and core bullet like the core-lokt.

I’ve used a lot of different guns to deer hunt but always end up back with the Winchester model 94 30-30.

I can’t remember: is the tool that installs the captured bar nuts on a Stihl, the same tool that’s used to install the recoil bushing?

Had zero issues with a regular old cup and core bullet like the core-lokt.

I’ve had excellent luck with 140 fusions out of the 7mm-08 vs the Winchester rounds I had before. I also like the Hornady sst 139’s but shoot 160 accubonds out of my 7mm mag with 61 grains of imr 4831 and Winchester brass.

I've not used it for that, but if I believe it will work.
