Gm says the Corvette external transmission filter has to be replaced at 7500 miles. There's a small window, and if not replaced in that time, voids warranty. They will replace it as a service 1 time under warranty.


This filter is $304. 2 quarts of fluid at $110 each.
This car has 1500 miles and customer is adamant we do the service now.
Whatever. See you at 7500 miles for your out of pocket $800 filter change that could have been free...

And i thought Harley parts and fluids were outrageous. Guess I'm gonna get that deposit back on my new vette. LOL
