I quit school in the 8th grade. Yeah...I wound up getting a GED, and got a couple years of college, but I'm no math wiz.
Practical math Randy.
What we have to use every day.
I hated math in school. Saw no good use for anything above simple functions like add, subtract, divide, etc.
Then I started bending conduit, and sunamabish, theres trigonometry AND Algebra!:eek::confused:
If id have known that, I woulda definitely paid more attention.
You know what you need to know is what I'm sayin.

Sean, you did the right thing.
Sad ending, but you did it right. it didn't die alone which counts for something.

You did what you could, the right thing. Any tags or way to track down the owner?

there’s a lot of game (pheasants) in that area, the shoots and the retrieval dogs are not marked/collared. It may have been microchipped but unlikely.

This lovely dog probably was exhausted and fell in the stream, and you know the rest.
I did my best.
And I ended up burying her on my allotment.

thanks

You did a good thing. That dog didn't die alone, and knows you tried. Thank you!

So....I found a 4.5" wide drip edge at Lowes. I'll get some of that.

We always used drip edge on gables and roof apron where gutters were gonna be hung.

And I always made sure I didn't pull it in too tight so it wasn't a *b-word to get the aluminum in when it was time to do sofit/fascia. Plus the gutter guys didn't have to fight getting the gutter locked in.

I always got pissed if we did siding/sofit/fascia on a house we didn't frame and the guys would pull it so tight you had to fight it.

Is you familiar with the 57 5/16" magic circle method of laying out degrees? We went over that at school last week. Pretty slick.
