Good morning gang.

yesterday was good fishing, i was on the beach at 04:45. the frenzied mackerel came in 1/2hr before sunrise I was pulling out mackerel 6 at a time. I ended up with over 120.
The dark patches are the white bait unfortunately they didn’t beach themselves. I was hoping to get a bag of it

i gave away 88 before I even got home. Then I had the job of cooking those others, I need to finish off cooking today.
My freezer is full

Ive been in every briar patch in Georgia and a good many in SC. Mostly following my Grandad, dad, and a couple of bird dogs.
So sad theres no more habitat for them here anymore.
Population and predation.
So much better to me than doves. White meat vs irony dark meat, and more tender.

There are people here that will hunt a species to extinction. Which is why I don't tell anyone local that I have them. Neighbor swore there would never be any quail here as he knows the guys who would sneak around and hunt them. I have posted my property, and will prosecute anyone hunting it without permission. I know the game don't belong to me. Just want them to thrive, so I may hunt them a little. Have never had quail, seems like I am missing out on it.

I did some more googling and found this diagram, it appears to be making noise from #2 which it claims is an idler. My forst thought was water pump but its a funny location for that it seems.
