I've got one of those, too. 95. Short bed, 300 6 cylinder with a 5 speed. Only bad thing about it is the 2.88 rear gears. They suck. but it gets 21 on the highway.
Bought an old 89 F150 a couple of months ago. 5.0 auto. Had a bent exhaust valve and bent push rod on #2 cylinder. Got that fixed up a week ago, took it out for a drive tonight. Does pretty good. 69,000 original miles.
Gave $700 for it and had a tow truck bring it home.

my truck has a 5.0 e40d 4:10 rear gets around 14-15 if your easy on it its a shortbed but i have hauled many loads of wood with it.

my truck has a 5.0 e40d 4:10 rear gets around 14-15 if your easy on it its a shortbed but i have hauled many loads of wood with it.
If mine had, at least, 3.55's I'd be a lot happier, but it works for me.

Mine only has 12K on it but it works all time pulling the stump grinder or he dump trailer. Here it is today as I hauled in 13,000lbs of top soil to finish out this job. The ruts weren't from me but from a neighbor that should have waited until the ground dried up.
