How did the crankshaft turn out? Are you reusing it?
The crank was about the cleanest part of the whole saw. The pic above was after I first removed it and wiped it off - only the counter weights were slightly rusty. The rotating surfaces were all smooth and free of corrosion. I flushed the rod bearing with solvent thoroughly and carefully inspected the needles. All was well with the bearing. I wanted to avoid using an aftermarket crank - I think I got very lucky with this one!
