Judge says, " Hold up there Husquvarne, your saws are sooo much better than Stihls. Your gunna have to give up some of your trade secrets and patents just so Stihl can stay afloat and give you just a little bit of competition."
No apology necessary, Dallas.
He needed a little time for introspection, and self evaluation.....I gave him 30 days.
he takes bribes to get out of jail early like donuts and the rare elusive K041 mount bars.I did that for 90 days before.
Your one of the finest sheriff's in town boss.
Having read the EPA mandate on small engines covering power saws, I personally would be surprised to see a new saw in this size class from either manufacturer. There is just no push for them at this time to update the pro level saws that they are(what basically amounts to) getting a pass on. From the way I understood it as, there is a level for them to meet for pollutants, if said level is under with certain models others would be given credit that were over, as long as it all averaged out. Don't know if/when this may change.
Also it is a very strange read and does explain a lot of what manufacturers are going through and why some just stay in the small saw market with the new classification set up. As well as the criminality of modifying pollution controlled saws, or even working on one uncertified or enabling some one to do so by selling a tool to an uncertified mechanic. All manor of ridiculousness.
Why do people get so sore over the fact husqvarna has shared some strato/AT info with stihl ? ... is it really that important ?
Is a 461 currently compliant and up to date with all that emissions stuff..i dont pay any attention to those things.
yep and husqvarna bought out redmax for there strato patents and to gain a broader consumer market
if you can't beat them you buy them.
