sorry jon, that guy rubs me wrong and every thread ive seen him post on he seems to want to argue then says hes not

He was being a dick back when the forum first started. I invited him to leave in rather stark terms. His response was ,"I won't leave of my own accord" or words to that effect.

stihl saws

You can always justify another saw.

Goodbye.

See ya' when you get back.
Dang it! I was in the middle of trading him a 361 for his 562. Now you've ruined it. Plus he never sent any pics of his saw. I wouldn't trade pennies with the guy now.

Why do people get so sore over the fact husqvarna has shared some strato/AT info with stihl ? ... is it really that important ?
Not important to me at all. I could care less what they share. I was just stating it as he made it sound

Sharing by choice is fine. When someone sticks their nose into your business (and pockets) by force of government, courts or a gun in your face it is quite a different matter.

Good to know. Thanks for the information, Ten Finger Ross.

There are some 572xp's out there being tested.

They have been field testing these for over 3 years now. No word on when it will go into production. The 576 was 'supposed' to be the 372 replacement, but that has not sold nearly as well as the 372Xtorq. IMO the 372XT is no 372xp... more vibe and less grunt. The 576 was a smooth saw, but bulky and the Autotune had issues.

So it seems that with Husky and Stihl, the 70cc saws are in limbo.

I think its gonna be a 441 version 2.0 .... but maybe not.

According to my buddies at the factory, the 441 has been EOL'd. There will be no 442, or 441 type II. The 461 will be upgraded and be coming out this fall. The new 461 (they may leave the numbers the same like the new 362 and 261) was supposed to be out this spring, but they released the newer edition 362 and 261 saws instead and held back on it. Marketing for you.

Well, I own a 75cc XPW, brother owns a 372 XT, and while I have not owned or run a 372OE, I CAN say that either of our 372's be it my XPW or Josh's XT just seem like a better package to us than the 576. I know alot of guys like the 576, but I just can't get on board with them. The 372, whichever variation you like, just feels like a stronger and more aggressive running saw. I'm not the least bit surprised that the 372 was reintroduced in the XT version, the 576 just isn't all it's cracked up to be IMHO. In other words, I agree...

And no, when the new 572 or whatever they end up calling it comes out, I won't be loosing my mind looking to get rid of the ol' XP-Dubya in order to get one!

Brother in law has an MS461 he bought new just about a year ago.. I haven't tried it yet but would like to give it a whirl and see what all the hubbub is about.. ;)

Just looked at Stihls website to compare the 441 and 461, looks like the 441 is NLA?

Damn, I'm going to run a mix of coconut oil at 32:1 through a boat anchor this week before I rebuild it. Really wanted to see what he thought. Lol
I don't see a recommended ratio for coconut oil on the interweb. ....[emoji13]
