Need porting advice for ms390 top end on ms310 bottom end(same saws just different bore)

I have a Stihl 011avt, McCulloch mac110, and some other partner brand tiny saw to. Porting those would be funny

I started with the McCulloch and the partner from my grandpa's old shed. The McCulloch would be a pretty cool saw if I could get it running right. But it's been very hard to figure out its issue

Here is my rough ass muffler mod. Would have used my electric die grinder but the neck broke off of it lol so I drilled it out and filed as good as I could with the *s-wordty bastard file I have

Wow! How loud is this bad-boy? The deflector helps a bit I'd imagine.

I work at a pine post peeler and the guys from way down(400-500 feet away) at the treatment plant and the office said it sounds like a motorcycle

And yeah I didn't cut the deflector to much I didn't wanna reduce the back pressure any more than I already had with bypassing the baffles lol

I've been wearing ear plugs because it does hurt my ears quite a lot. But it sounds amazing.

Iam working on the same thing shortly Ill share some n pics. Here something I didn't measure but the 029 jug I have has wider transfers than the 290 jug.

I haven't had mine that far apart to look at the jugs side by side but with these two supposedly only the bore is different

But who knows there's probably a bunch of inconsistencies between the two. This farmertech cylinder is supposed to be decent though

Cant remember were I read it on here bit someone said the 45mm 029 heads flowed better than the 290 46mm heads and looking at them I can see the difference. I haven't taken apart the 390 yet but Iam sure interested if anyone else has input on this
