It is if you don't have a machine shop. I don't want to FUBAR it up its the only 200T cyl I have left. Its half shot already.Shouldn't be a big deal. Making your own threaded insert would be even better if you're worried about it sealing. You can cut your threads to whatever depth you need and add some loctite on top of that and voila. It will not leak.
He didn't remove enough to add up to much. Pull the gasket. Should be fine. Those saws run at high R's low volume and relatively low compression. Just be mindful of the plug to piston gap. I usually index my plugs to get the best burn. You can take less material out than Matt did.Exact same kit? Now we need an opinion on the combustion chamber you ground. Tomorrow I will try what you did on a junker.
