Yep looks like the stuff. Use it on turbo stuff sometimes. It has a shelve life so don't buy more then you can use in a 3-6 months

I wouldn't worry about it either way. That sleeve gets swaged in there and it's not gonna back out if it's done right.of note, that 907 stuff is high temp, but it says removable with hand tools. ... so it may not be as ... permanent as jb weld. I dunno... talkin out my butt here...
No rush.how rush is this job? I'm in the middle of swapping out equipment and reorganizing , but I could do it.
You are sure it is the same exact set ? If so I could dremel a bit out but I cant imagine it would give it enough clearance the way it looks from here.Steve, I can send you the cylinder so you can see what I did.... if ya want. the insert hasn't been swaged in there, just placed it in there

I'm going to take a pic in a while of the one I have .
What do you need ? Are you able to bore it and tap it with a m17x 1.25 tap there ? Do you have that tap?Well if you need someone to get it in there straight I can. I have a job shop.
I would just need the save a thread tap meant for the sleeve and the sleeve. I would say I could grab one of the China special 17x1.25 taps from eBay and it would probably be fine, but there is a standard for all threads on their fitment class and I'm not sure how sloppy the China tap is.What do you need ? Problem is the tool is too long and hits inside. That's why I think we need a tap not the tool.I'm posting pics soon for Matt to compare the length.I would just need the save a thread tap meant for the sleeve and the sleeve. Just like basher said I would turn a mandrel to indicate off from or if things don't look to sloppy and I have the space I would make a tap guide that sits on the head to guide that tap straight by hand.
Yeah going to have to sacrifice the end of it. I'll price out a tap.Problem is the tool is too long and hits inside. That's why I think we need a tap not the tool.I'm posting pics soon for Matt to compare the length.
