I see no value at all by using AM P&C sets on 026`s, so far the OEM ones wins all the way. I really am not interested in grinding out an AM set to make it work as good as a OEM set even if it can be achieved. Thanks to drf255 for this thread.

And it seems that would be the trade off. Save a little money on the jug, maybe, and spend the time trying to get the power out of it. I'm starting to see the wisdom in sticking with oem on any decent saws I'm looking to hop up.
Junk saws, AM has its place instead of throwing the saw away. I resurrected an old trashed 181 that really has not one saleable part on it with a $25 huztl kit. It cuts. It was worth it. But it wouldn't have been for a $180 oem kit...
