Good to see you posting more of your work Scott, I imagine many others like it too!! I like your little hint about what you would not do to the exhaust if fitting a pipe. I hope one day you do a build thread that involves a pipe and how you build the saw to make the most of it.

Looks like you took a fair amount from the case and piston so you lost some primary comp right? Would the saw have a differnent running characteristic if you had left those spots alone?

He filled the case back in with epoxy.
Essentially he put stuffers in the bottom of the tunnels.
Looks like more material now than there was originally. He just re-shaped it for a smoother transition.

Yeah i saw the epoxy didnt know if it made up the difference? But im still interested to know if running chatacteristics would change? Maybe a quicker revving but lose some torque? Sorry just running the what ifs through my noodle.
