Owning a 2100xp and using it often means you take chainsaws seriously. There are better smother more modern choices, but they totally defeat the purpose of using a 2100. A saw that seperates the men from the others, if you can run one and say you enjoyed it at the end of the day your half way there.

Cool story Norm. 385xp is my favorite saw and I can honestly say I worry about hurting its feelings when I leave it behind but lately it's killing my low back to run it.

thx. got it lil less than yr ago. w/owners manual, oem 36, toolkit. don't get much wood big enough to use it properly.
