Damn, that alot of opening. Did you have tuning problems?
When I go too big I can not get the low speed/idle to settle down.
I've got a dual port that I made for my 064, they are both about that size, no tuning issues

What are you fellas using to hold your screens on when running a welded second outlet? I want to put a screen on my masterminded 036 but don't want to drill holes.

What are you fellas using to hold your screens on when running a welded second outlet? I want to put a screen on my masterminded 036 but don't want to drill holes.
Just pinch the screen between the muffler and deflector and weld.

A Husqvarna 42 special with a single tube output in the same place as factory , just calculated to be 80% aria of the cylinders exhaust port opening. Internal tube gone but baffle drilled with more and bigger holes .

Yeah that's what I would've done if i was doing the MM. However the outlet was welded on when I had it ported. Guess I'll just lay the screen inside the muffler and run bead around the edge.

That might be tricky. I'd probably cut the deflector off and start over.
