Do you run that after the baffle was cut out with the stock exit port only? any gains in just the baffle gone
There is a gain with just enlarging the original port. More to be had with losing the baffle. I may have gone to far with this one but will be easy to fix.

It does sound nasty with a triple.

Here is an 044 I did today, used a husqvarna 288 set up with the factory screws and spark arrestor, fig best way to get a stihl to run is to put husqvarna parts on it.lol, sorry couldn't resist, I love them booth honest.

Is that nothing but a stub of EMT?? Always curious what guys use for tubing. Didn't know if conduit could hold up to the heat.

Yep it’s just Good old galvanized EMT. :)

It’s a real treat to weld.... o_O

Sucks to weld. EMT is much thicker and harder than the Muffler. Tough to get right heat without blowing out the thin muffler metal.

I dont like any muffler outlet that directs the exhaust at the wood.
Besides the risk of catching fire, the saw and operator are taking in exhaust spew.
Sucking exhaust in, whether it be the saw or the operator, just isnt good.
