Holy crap!! That's huge..... I put a 25/64 inch hole in my muffler and I didn't want to go much bigger because I thought it would be too loud.
I use the same 1" pipe on stihl mufflers with a gutted dual port cover to boot.

1"x2" hole in the cover plus the 1" pipe on the side. Very loud though.

Old deflector removed and a slice of 1"X1" tubing to carry exhaust foreword.

Without the deflector we nearly burned the brake flag off.

Open Question.....
Do any of you use the 70-80% of the aria of the cylinder exhaust exit to give you the size of the hole or combined holes in the muffler?

I made the above over large as all I need is some shim stock to make it smaller.
