Holy crap!! That's huge..... I put a 25/64 inch hole in my muffler and I didn't want to go much bigger because I thought it would be too loud.

I use the same 1" pipe on stihl mufflers with a gutted dual port cover to boot.

1"x2" hole in the cover plus the 1" pipe on the side. Very loud though.

Good lord that 064 is fast!! It does sound nice too. But you don't get a real feel on how loud they are until you run them in person.

It's very loud.
Can't run it without hearing protection.

I do have a 10 inch chunk of a 12 gauge double barrel with the bead sight on it waiting for a special saw someday.

MS880 w/clip on muffler.

Original outlet hole about 9/16".

Dremmeled out a bit.

Old deflector removed and a slice of 1"X1" tubing to carry exhaust foreword.

Without the deflector we nearly burned the brake flag off.

Do any of you use the 70-80% of the aria of the cylinder exhaust exit to give you the size of the hole or combined holes in the muffler?

I made the above over large as all I need is some shim stock to make it smaller.

Adding a 3rd port to my 066 with one of the deflectors I got from red97

Origional 2x DP muffler holes have been doubled in size and now the 3rd port should help take advantage of the V stack and K&N air filter
