Maybe just vac test it?
don't you drive the seal in flush with the outer race of the bearing??? like on a 660? then the rubber seal just barely clears that lip on the crank.
when I drive seals too far, even by a little bit i curse at myself then tear em out and do new. i'm ocd about that sort of stuff.
Maybe the timing is off. I got the coil gap set a .002.The saw will pop then snatch the pull cord out of my hand. I got a D ring on the pull cord
