Yessir...Norma is top tier stuff for sure. I hand load everything as well. I've been using Norma brass with the 6XC for years. I can generally get around 14 reloads out of it before primer pockets loosen up too much

I have a real hard time with Norma/Ruag after how they handled the Prime thing, wont ever use their stuff.

I thought about a 6.5 SAUM for a while but I settle on a 7 SAUM, I want more punch and some heavier bullets. I will probably have Jon build that one. I want to try a proof as well.

I got a hankering last year for a 28 Nosler. Barrel life kind of scared me away. I like to shoot a lot when I get a chance to shoot.

Usually, here in NY, it is harder to get a deer with a gun than it is with a bow … they spook fast when everyone is in the woods!

If you make a clean kill with any weapon in any season, it is a good kill, and I take some satisfaction in loading my own ammo and butchering the deer myself.

I have taken them with bow, cross bow, MZ and rifle (never with a shotgun!). I use the MZ instead of a shotgun, I think it is more accurate (but jus one shot).

i grew up hunting with a open sight mod '94 Win .30-.30 that my great grandpa got as payment in the depression. love that gun. i split a Sharpie Marker in half @ 100 yds showing off to some city slicker friends.
