I don’t. Randy did a thread when the new one came out that shows the differences between the two. I don’t remember the name of it though.

I’ve never seen anyone grind that flange off, btw. But that’s what causes the destruction. I don’t know if it would run right without it or not

Cool. Anything to lookout for on the 362 series? I have two to assemble as well as a 361.

With some epoxy to help bet a fat old YouTubeer (Harv) would knock that out as nearly new ported saw

The 462 has undergone some serious design changes. The case, cylinder, and piston are are different now.

These two pictures show the changes to the slug and the cases.

Cool. Anything to lookout for on the 362 series? I have two to assemble as well as a 361.

Not that I’ve ever heard. The 362 is like the 029 of pro saws. Doesn’t have enough power to cause itself any damage

Looks like epoxy.

He splits the cases cuts the bridge and magnesium tig welds the pockets of the bridge stump up on the new 500i's. Least ways for those that wish to pay the extra dough for the extra work involved.

My Gain-O-mometer is in the shop being recalibrated, however at my GTG it was ran by others, myself included and I have to say, it's without question the most off the hook 500i witnessed to date.

I have a bunch of those very expensive baby formula storage containers as well lol. They work well to stick things in and keep them dry plus they were all $20+ each so I gotta get my monies worth

So the customer brought you the saw with a new inspection hole and didn’t want to spend the coin to fix it and left it with you ? Sounds like a fun project.

Yeah....pretty much. He's sending a different saw.....and I'm gonna pay for something for this one.

I’ve always been under the impression adding case volume can help add to bottom end power but might hurt throttle response. But what do I know about science stuffs.
