Just had one dropped off to look at today. Any tips??? [emoji6]

If it's the non-strato version they can be made to run very well. Do the usual widening of the intake and exhaust, lower the intake floor a few degrees. Advance the timing and open the muffler up good. A little thinning of the throttle shafts and screws.....and it will surprise you.

I did one with a Tilly from an XL12, and external transfer ports. I fly cut the bearing pockets and raised the crankshaft up about .050". That allowed me the do a pop-up

I was mainly using the kit to practice porting with cause it was cheap. I didn't figure it would last. It was a fun build. I am going to sand the transfer out of the cylinder and try some more tweeks to it to see if I can get any more out of it. It's just for personal playing. I like having fun with it and not having the worry. I am wanting to try one of those cross performance kits on my 064. You still having good results with them???
I have ported a couple am 064 cylinders and both were very nice and ran well.
They also have a decomp hole if you needed it. I didn't use the bb though
Both were standard bore

You have to lower the cylinder or in this case raise the crank to use a popup also.

I happen to know an expert at pop-up port work if help is needed. Brad can you hear me? Randy really doesn't know what he's doing.
