Next checked squish with no base gasket.

Measuring 0.025 so no base gasket.

There are a lot of different parts compared to the ms660. I'll be reviewing the IPL regularly. I have not seen any documented builds.

Along for the ride. I've read some comments on this clone. Wondered if it was worth a try.
Perhaps some of the guys who have built them will chime in. I'm interested in the outcome.

OEM Parts came in.
Don't know when I will get to work on saw.

Having Cubital Tunnel release surgery on my elbow August 21st.

Going to do what my hands lets me do.

Had a little time, installed piston with the OEM wrist pin bearing and c-clips, then rings and the cylinder with no base gasket.

I have done this with an MS660 using the parts that I could salvage from the original that died after about 800 hours of run time on it and was shot.

It worked. For less than $200, I have an MS660 clone that runs perfectly. Not easy to do, but the rebuilt saw is still running well after 40 hours of operation. If my MS361 conks out the same way, I may take a shot at this.
