Guys, just for the record, Dallas has left the building again. Not coming back.
He said he signed off for last time........

been thinking of doing the same

I certainly hope you don't either, but if you, the Godfather of chainsaw porting can't get any respect around here, just who the firetruck can?
Certainly hasn't been for Randy or Bob or anyone else when it comes down to it. It's like a never ending short bus ride that doesn't reach the school. All you can do is hope not to get any boogers on you.
New member participation is also near non existent. Surely they, much like yourself want to be treated like a person and not just the post that is seen on a screen.

Pick me! Whichever you feel most comfortable with! Similar to taking an animal with a rifle, know your gun and feel comfortable with it. I personally until the 462 was loving the 362 type II with a 20" ES. 99% of what I wanted to cut could be done with this saw. Bore from both sides and let it rip. The more I use my 462, the more this saw is taking its place. AYYYYYY 462 Thread! What did I win?

Which Rifle for LL?

That is too bad, I'm sorry to hear that. Actually sent him a PM earlier, but did not hear back from him.

I like him, but he does not seem to have thick skin.

Pot.
Kettle.

Everyone needs to quit taking these Garden Tools so seriously.

For 2 grown men to get so twisted up over a 2 stroke that neither of them earn a living with is sad.

Let’s all take a deep breath, step back a bit, & not take these smelly chainsaws so serious.

I was even hoping Dallas could teach you the Zen Master square filing techniques but you had to duffle his feathers, you feather ruffler you.

Have a Good Day.

I think a ms462, is nothing more, than a ms362, that stihl stuffed a 044 top end on, angled the fin backwards, and pulled a bluff, on all of us....

That be the MS400, except it is 65cc.

The 462 cases is are bit more than just a current 362 according to those that have compared them.
