I don't think I have any shims but I do have a box of plugs

I’ve doubled up on plug washers to give the extra compression needed to index where I wanted, but It will lift the plug a bit. But if you consider what you took out of the squish band, it may be back approximately where the factory intended.

This is what I’m seeing. It’s like the mains are colliding the center and working to the exhaust port. Not sure if I can explain it but the secondaries look to merge and go up. The mains seem to collide, maybe at a lower pressure and taking the path of least resistance towards the exhaust. Not sure here.... just an opinion.
