I think the open end of the electrode of sparkplug is facing the clean part of chamber.


I would try to use some play doe, and shove in the transfers, remove and compare side to side. Looking for differences. I'm not sure what would keep the play doe from sticking unless a film of oil/ wd40 is used. Like stated before, might be the end results of the cutter used.

One other thought, if looking a piston wash, if both sides are even then that tells me both sides are equal. So the fresh charge is possible meeting in the middle? So that raises the question of what is happening when that takes place. Is the flow aimed and merging together?
