if I get a gain I can grind it in, but witch way?

Just a thought. You have your exhaust where you want now, and it’s a loss to go more. So that piston is done. What if you grind the angles one way on it. If you maintain or gain it’s a win. Cuz it’s already slower the way it is.

I’m thinking I’d try upwards towards the center.

Primary downward for lift, secondary flat to continue the “bottom up” fill and push exhaust out.

Disclaimer: theory only, don’t let the smell of my brain farts distract from actual experience.

Also you could start with just the primaries, then angle the secondaries after you maximize gains with that if there are any and see if there are any more?

that's where I was...you passed me doing 90mph with the slanted then Scott blew by us both with the staggered slant...
im limited by what my mind will allow in by what my tooling will do. I had no way of mentally building slants.
and only a crude understanding of doming one.

but am sure as chit finding this discussion better then learning about Chithole locations on TV

It’s the best thread on here in a long time! That’s for sure!

Scott that looks better, but times were worse? Why do you think it’s washing better on the flywheel side?

Flywheel fan is keepin that side of the cylinder cooler and not combusting as much as the otherside

Yes sir

Flywheel fan is keepin that side of the cylinder cooler and not combusting as much as the otherside

Never thought of that. I thought it was a very slight difference in entry pressure caused by the clutch side ports being a hair lower than the flywheel side
