All right Ya'll might find this interesting. When I epoxy an intake. I make these little plastic pieces about .4mm smaller than my bore. Than I put an index card covering the intake and usually one on exhaust side as well. What ever it takes to make it fit really snug. That way when the epoxy dries I can just pull this and rip off my index card. Nothing sticks and it's super close to the bore size. :)

And here's the epoxy in. I use an inverted bit and kinda put dove tails in the bottom along with grinding it and cleaning the crap outta it. This go I'm trying some of the morso/eldeebrock a/b epoxy. We will see how it turns out. Supposedly it sets in an hour. On the devcon I fill it and am constantly pressing down on it as it dries to make sure I get all the voids out. This stuff that's not so easy. 20160128_191243.jpg

On the last three I did I just used JB Weld. I put masking tape over the port, on the plating, and poured it about half full.
That sounds easier. Lol. I bought this a/b stuff so I'm gonna give it a try. Initial thoughts I like the devcon better. Lol. But we'll see how it turns out. Lol.

Well Carl, I cut the squish on a 7° taper, and took out .030". Then I took .040" off the base.
Ok. Made the corners a tad tighter. I'm with ya. I was gonna do 6° but wanted to keep it easier to measure. Just in case. You took .005 more off the base than I did on saw 2. We're close lol. Depending on squish I'd say net 215 comp. Am I right so far. Lol. I'm listening. I like the 7 degrees. Did your intake land roughly at 87?

Pic of the epoxied intake. It's width is at 62% and as I was coming down I got the center just a tad low at 76 but that's ok I made her pretty by just sweeping it up to about 74.5 on the corners. It should still tell me what I need to know! And don't be deceived. It looks like it sweeps a lot but that's just the epoxy and angle messing with ya. Shoulda took a pic with a ring pushed up in there!20160129_154326.jpg

I'm at 108/125......and wherever the intake landed.
:) I like it. I couldn't decide weather to raise the trans or not. So what the hell! 15° blowdown sounded good! Lol. Your at 17°. Where's the sweet spot. Lol. Saw 2 is really close to yours at 108/124/ and where the intake landed.
